MS Word dissappeared form my computer. I re-downloaded it from the 2000
Works Suite disk and got updates from the ms office update web site. My
computer is operating on XP. Why won't word open?

After selecting word from the start menu, the certification box appears,
disappears, word acts as if it is going to open. That is a document page
appears and then a dilogue box appears that says Microsof Word for Windows
has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvnience. Send error or not.
