Xint is an alternative to Windows notepad, that looks very similar,
but in fact offers dozens of additional features. They include
additional formatting options (URL encoding, CSV conversion, HTML
stripping, A-Z sorting), as well as browser preview, word count, case
conversions and more. Xint also includes an enhanced search and
replace features, a hex color picker, date insert and more. In
addition, the program even includes a built-in encryption feature,
allowing you to secure a file, using 160-bit Twofish encryption.

Xint is an alternative to Windows notepad,

It's a great editor, somewhere in between Metapad and heavy duty
PSPad. I don't like the non-standard icons though, can't get used to
them, and hope they'll use the more familiar ones in a next version.
