Update Windows

I have the Windows Update icon on my task bar, saying that it is downloading
updates at 0%. It has been on my task bar for days. I can tell that my
computer is not updating too. How to fix??? Can anyone please help me???

I have had 2 computer techs tell me to hold off on installing MS SP2.
One is my son who is the IT for a large company and the other is the
tech at the computer store that does nothing but work on screwed up
systems that come in with a virus or are screwed up by SP2.

I'm just passing on wht I have heard. At least you might check with a
tech at one of the seervice centers/stores and get their opinion,
