update split mde database

I've been asked to work on a split database that was created by someone who
is no longer with the company. The front end is in mde format and the back
end is in mdb. Is there a way that I can find/locate the queries/codes for
the forms used in the database? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to have the original Front End MDB so that you can
modify it.
Then, from that modified MDB, create a new MDE.
