Update Patches Download

I had gone to the windows update and did the download the
program manager said to do first. It took a long time and
when I did the re-boot it stated not all update 1% to 2%
were able to be completed, but windows still booted up.
Now when I go to the windows update and it goes to scan
for installed updates, it stops and a message come back
that states: due to my security level for ArchiveX could
not accomplish--or something like that. What do I do to
fix now--I tried downloading the blaster security patch
separate, but it stated I may not have access authority to
accomplish this upload. Help Help what do I do now????

Try this. Use tools/internet options/security/trusted sites - sites. Add
Microsoft.com to the zone and deselect "require server verification https"
checkbox. Hit OK and then for trusted sites select "default level" and OK
again. Then try to use http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp
again. Make sure you are logged on as an administrator to run blaster
