Update multiple tables in datasheet form in ADP

Is there a way to have a form based on a query containing multiple tables in
an Access 2000 adp and be able to update any field regardless of what table
it comes from? The default restriction is only to the "unique table" that is
set on the form. I would like a way around this if possible.
