HTTrack is a free (GPL, libre/free software)
and easy-to-use offline browser utility.

It allows you to download a World Wide Web site
from the Internet to a local directory, building
recursively all directories, getting HTML, images
and other files from the server to your computer.
HTTrack arranges the original site's relative
link-structure. Simply open a page of the
"mirrored" website in your browser, and you can
browse the site from link to link, as if you were
viewing it online. HTTrack can also update an
existing mirrored site, and resume interrupted
downloads. HTTrack is fully configurable,
and has an integrated help system.

WinHTTrack is the Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP
release of HTTrack and WebHTTrack the
Linux/Unix/BSD release.

It only prevents you from enjoying it.

Here is another webgrabber

wGetGUI
http://www.jensroesner.de/wgetgui/
The easy to use Graphical User Interface (GUI)
for the powerful webgrabber wGet
http://www.gnu.org/software/wget/wget.html

What is a webgrabber?
A webgrabber downloads complete sites, including pictures and sounds
(if you want) onto your harddisk. Just start it and when you come back
from a short walk or whatever (You can also fully use your PC/Internet
connection while wGetGUI and wGet work!), chances are it already has
downloaded what you wanted. You now can surf the site "offline",
that's why those programmes are called "offline browser"s sometimes.

Why do I need one?
No one "needs" them, as they cannot do anything you could not do
yourself. But it is a lot easier to have a webgrabber do it for you.
Just fire it up and let it do everything. However, if you have to pay
for every minute or transmitted Kilobyte, you might want to restrict
what the webgrabber downloads.

Why should I use wGet?
Because it is small and extremely mighty!

So, why does not everyone use wGet?
Because it is not very easy to use for an average Windows User

How does your programme help me?
It is my first Visual Basic programme and I think it gives you an easy
to use Graphical User Interface (GUI) like you know from every other
Windows-based programme. Although it is not as powerful as the command
line operated wGet, it gives you most of the things you'll need. And
it gives them fast! ;)

Now, I go to spread happiness through the rest of the Internet.
It is a terrible responsibility, but I have learned to live with it.
