Update Field on print

I recently upgraded from Office 2000 to Ofice 2003. Once I did that, the
field in headers do not update on print, or print preview, or print layout.
I can update the field manually, however, this is not an option because of
the large number of documents I ned to update.
 
Do you have "Update fields" checked on the Print tab of Tools | Options?

Yes I do. It worked fine in Office 2000.
