Update Excel spreadsheet with Powerpoint Data

Anyone know how I can append to an Excel spreadsheet data that is input
during a powerpoint slide show using VBA?
 
if you insert the spreadsheet as an object into the slide, you can edit it
directly on the slide, but not in the show. maybe explain a little more what
you are trying to do.
