Update contacts in BCM via new import

Hello,
I have 6,000+ new contacts in BCM all marked as "Active". About ~20% of
these contacts are going to be dead accounts. I use iContact for my email
marketing. iContact gives me a list of dead contacts after a marketing
campaign, exportable as a .CSV file.

How can I leverage this list of over 1,000 dead contacts update my existing
contacts to toggle the property value of "Active" into "InActive"?

Ugh, I did this manually last week.
- Changed ~400 contacts from "Active" to "Inactive"

So far, I should have just stayed in Access or Excel for managing my
contacts. In total, I'll have another 3,000-ish contacts to edit in this
manner and do not look forward to the task. I am about to export my contact
database back into Excel, Delete all BCM contacts, perform my edits in Excel,
and then re-import. Seems like I'm missing out on some functionality here
beyond becoming a SQL DB admin.

Any help would be appreciated.
