Update a union query with a macro

Hello,

I have a union query that I would like to update with a macro, with a
another table.
 
Data values in a union query can't be updated. Did you have some other
meaning of "update"?
 
You are way too vague. I doubt anyone can respond with anything other than
guesses and questions.
 
I have a union query that I join to tables to gather and tring to join
another table to it. How would or is there another way to update table in a
data base?
 
If I understand correctly, the records are not updateable in a query that
uses a union query.
