Update a Table

Currently i import 2 excel files into my database, at different times.

I am looking to update one of the tables depending on the information on the
other. i.e. The first table is stock gained and the second table is the stock
sold.

I wold therefore want to be able to update the stock table to say that the
item has been sold.

already responded to in 'tablesdbdesign' newsgroup, and commented on in
'queries' newsgroup.

It is rarely necessary to post the same question repeatedly to multiple
'groups. In fact, it's considered a bit impolite, since the volunteers who
help out in the 'groups might answer a post in one 'group without realizing
that the question was already answered in another.

And YOU have to look in multiple groups to see if your question was
answered!

If your situation absolutely calls for posting to more than a single group
(and this is rare), please select all 'groups in the To:/Newsgroups:
section. That way, an answer in one group shows up in the rest.
