Update a .dll

Dear sirs,

I have to update a .dll to make work Movie Maker 2. I have obtained a copy
of qasf.dll in English (my OS is WXP PRO SP2 in Italian) but whenever I try
to copy it in my system32 folder I found it every time replaced with the old
9.0 version. That is caused - I believe - by a system protection of SP2.
Any suggestions on steps to take ?

Pull a copy in both "system32" and "system32/dllcache" and it should fix
your problem.

Dear SpongeBob,

I am sorry to inform you that I don't have a folder named "dllcache" in my
"system32" folder. I actually don't have that folder anywhere (I have
searched in hidden files and in system folders). I do have a copy of that
qasf.dll in my hard drive and it is located in
c:\windows\servicePackFiles\i386 . I have successfully updaded that .dll to
version 10.
If you have any other suggestions I will be extremely grateful.
