Unzip utility for Windows Vista

I installed the Vista RC1 last night. Tried to install the drivers for my
motherboard, but they came in .zip form. Is there an "Unzip" utility in
Vista RC1...?
Thank you.

Vista should show .ZIP files as Compressed (zipped) folders

If you click on the .ZIP it should open, you can navigate through the folder
in the normal way

Thank you, Brian. I appreciate it.
It seems that the system is working fine anyway, except for the serious file
corruption problem after installation of Computer Associates EZ Virus. But
it seems that it is under control... for now, at least, after I removed the
AntiVirus. But that is a subject for another post, I guess, unless you could
give me some recommendations for AntiVirus software on 64 bit platform...?
By the way... What a fantastically beautiful interface! I am still amazed,
even though the supply of 64 bit software is so limited.
Way to go, Microsoft!

Yes, Vista is growing on me, they have to get a few implementation issues
resolved though - nVidia drivers, SCSI interface and for me personally to
get SLI working.

On Vista x64, Symantec Antivirus appears to work OK, but it is part of a
business package (Server + Workstations) and not ideal for single PCs.

You will see plenty on antivirus in microsoft.public.windows.vista.general
+ other Vista groups. Also check microsoft.public.windows.64bit.general
for this plus other info on Vista 64bit

Chris, you better get checked out if you got Vista growing *on* you! :)

Just being funny,

Thank you, guys. I will keep trying to find one. For now, I just have to be
careful, especially that I have experienced serious problems with the file
system.

It seems like running 32-bit XP and 64-bit Vista on 1 hard drive is creating
"havoc" in the file system, at least on my computer. Every time I reboot and
switch from one OS to the other, I get the message that the NTFS file system
is corrupt and the CHKDSK should be run. System Volume Info files are being
deleted/re-referenced etc. - perhaps it's the "remnants" of the AntiVirus.

For now, before I use Vista for something more serious, I guess I will just
enjoy the "undeniable beauty of the interface" LOL.

I still think it looks fantastic...

Thanks again,

LOL. Thanks guys, I will keep looking.

I have experienced some serious problems with the NTFS file structure while
switching between 32-bit XP and 64-bit Vista. The CHKDSK has to be run
almost every time I switch between the OS'. Perhaps it's the remnants of the
AntiVirus.

Sounds like you have problems from some application; have you have a full
chkdsk on all drives/partitions ?

I have 32-bit and 64-bit versions of XP and Vista running on a single PC, I
am using a RAID. Each is in it own partition, I don't have problems access
files from the OSes when logged into one.

WinZip or WinRAR work on all 4 OSes

I think that my problem was related to the set up of my motherboard. The
S.M.A.R.T. was disabled by default, and I have also changed some other
settings.
I have not had a chance to test the new set up on Vista, but my XP seems to
be running well.
Are there any recommended settings for the hard drive/IO devices etc. to run
Vista? I have a Serial ATA Seagate 320GB 7200.10 Perpendicular Recording
Hard Drive, AsRock DualVSTA MB, Core 2 Duo E6600, 1GB PC2700 DDR dual
channel, BFG 7800GS AGP.
Thank you, Brian, I appreciate your help.
