Unwelcomed Cookies

Michael P Gabriel

Hi!
I use a little app called, "Cookie Wall", which allows me to 'accept
permanently', 'accept temporarily', or 'delete' any cookie that comes
in. It alerts me and requests disposition. At the end of my online
session, I look in on Cookie Wall to see all the cookies and either
delete or keep permanently any cookie I want to. I hold about 6,
permanently. None temorarily.

All day long, this one unwelcomed cookie comes in, ATWOLA.COM. I have
never dealt with the company so why do they insist on barraging my
system all day long? It gets so oppressive, deleting it about 3 or 4
rimes a day. it .Also, I got on what I thought would be their
website., www.atwola.com, but there is none. I've been getting cookies
from AT&T and a computer support group but I emailed them and asked
them to stop! And they did!

Question Who is Atwola.com and how can I contact them?
Thanks!
Mike

A google search on atwola brings up many hits. Have you looked at
these?

Several options that work well, IMHO

From www.Camtech2000.com has CT Cookie Spy and SpySites.

I also have AnalogX's Cookie Wall.

do you mean ar.atwola.com...

that site attempts to set a cookie on my machine as well

i assume its from an advertising site that one of the many places i
visit use...

the best solution is to use mozilla - it has the best popup and cookie
controls of any browser (which means no running extra software) - or
being exposed to more security holes than the pentagon - simply set that
site to permanently deny cookies...
