Unwanted Websites In IE Address Line

I am using IE 6.0. I have a bunch of unwanted websites in my address bar. I
have used "tools/clear history" and delete files & delete cookies.

Try the following and see if it helps:

CCleaner from http://www.ccleaner.com/
should be able to clear the History and the index.dat file.
Just check the appropriate boxes and run it.

Removing some or all entries is an easy registry edit.
