unwanted address in drop-down address bar

Maybe someone can give me a clue.
I have this address hiding in my address drop-down bar.
If I try to type in a new address, the unwanted address
appears.
I have deleted all history, files, and cookies, rebooted
and still the unwanted address is still there.
How can I permanently delete this unwanted address which
hides in my address drop-down and only appears when I try
to type in a new address?
