Unwanted program started automatically when the computer is turned

When the computer is turned on, Window Media player program will appear
automatically. How do I stop it ?

You can also go under start then run and type in msconfig then click on the
startup tab at the top and that will list things that startup when your
computer boots. If it is spamware you could always try to remove it with
ad-aware or spybot s&d.
