Unwanted movement of forms

I have multiple tabbed pages on a form, with text fields on the master form
above the tabs. Each of the tabs has a subform or two on them.

My problem is that in some way that I haven't been able to predict, the
tabbed pages sometimes move to eclipse the master fields. and then after I
change master records, at some point (again I don't know what observations to
report), the master fields are visible again.

How do I control (prevent) this movement?

Thanks!

The only thing I can think of that would cause this behaviour is if one of
your subforms is too wide for its tab page.

is the tab control longer than the mainform, when the form is open in Form
view? if so, is one or more of the subforms also longer than the main form?
in a case where a control is "out of sight" beyond the borders of a form,
when the focus moves to that control then the entire form appears to "move".
like looking through a camera's viewfinder at a scene, as the camera moves,
part of the scene moves into the viewfinder as another part moves out.

if this is the case, suggest you resize the tab control, or at least the
subforms, so that they fit completely into the open Form view along with the
controls above the tab control.
