Unwanted lines in Tools dropdown menu

Two unwanted links to websites have appeared in
mz "Tools" dropdown menu in IE6. They have also become
available as buttons for the toolbar. Anzone know how to
remove them? Thanks.

Use Regedit.exe and remove the item. It should be under here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions

Hi,
Toolbar Cop from http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/ should be able to remove
these.

You should also suspect the presence of other unwanted files or programs and
run (at least) these two programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/
Both should be updated before use.
