Check these Registry keys for entries with paths that contain spaces, but have no quotes.

(Open the Run box and enter: regedit)

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]

Example:
C:\Program Files\program path\app.exe

Change to:
"C:\Program Files\program path\app.exe"

ju.c

Check your folder options:
In Windows Explorer, click Tools menu > Folder Options > View tab > Advanced
settings, uncheck "Restore previous windows at logon if it is checked".

From Dougknox http://www.dougknox.com/index.html Win XP Utilities, download
Startup Programs Tracker. This utility will generate a log file that you can
copy and paste into a reply messsage. Run the tool and post the info under:

-- Registry --
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

-- Registry --
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Generally, the Running Processes and the Services sections aren't necessary.

Knowing the complete path, will better allow you to find its remnants and
uninstall. Here is another option:

For a detailed list of all installed software:
http://www.belarc.com/Download.html

In the Software Versions section you'll see all of your installed software.
At the end of each entry is a clickable asterisk that will take you to the
folder the software is installed in.
