I recently ran scan disk and got a screen that says "Checking file system
drive C... The type of file is NTFS
cannot open the volume for direct access.
Windows is done checking the disk."
I have checked the disk several times since and rebooted to try to get rid
of this screen that comes up
between the bootup screen and the welcome screen. It was never there before
and if anyone can
tell me how to get rid of it I will be very thankful for your help. Windows
XP OS. Thanks.
