Unwanted changes

Help! I have a problem, virus or something else, that
changes the Home Page on my Internet explorer, adds
unwanted favorites and displays websites that I did not
intend to go to. Something is using webplayer, I believe,
to make these things happens. As webplayer is on the tool
bar after this happens and I didn't start it.

An increasingly common problem, some things you can do (not in any
particular order):

1) Install and run Adaware from www.lavasoft.de

2) Install and run Spyware Blaster from
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

3) Dump all TIF's and selectively delete unwanted cookies

4) Turn on the native firewall or install a third-party one
