Windows Baseline Security has informed me that i have
four administrators listed. There should be two. Is there
a way to remove the unwanted administrators without going
into the registry? They are not listed as users.

Account information is stored in the SAM and you may not be able to
manipulate them in the registry with REGEDIT.
They are not listed as users.

Take a look in your local group "Administrators".

Ciao, Walter

One logs in as an admin and uses the User Accounts
applet of control panel to set what they of account
each listed account is designated to be.
One may also do this is lusrmgr.msc or by running
control userpasswords2

At a cmd prompt, running
net localgroup Administrators
will show the names of the accounts (which MBSA
shows anyway).

Now, I always have more than 2 admin accounts
on my installs, so what MBSA has to say is only
informative, and the threshold of 2 is a matter of
opinion.
