Unusual message

When shutting down or restarting my computer I get the following message
for
about one twentieth of a second then a warning sound and finally the
machine
shuts down or reboots as normal.

Can something be done to remove or settle this warning?

"The application failed to initialize because the window station is
shutting
down."

This message appears when a window or application tries to open as the
machine is shutting down. It's actually not an unusual message - but it may
indicate that there is an application you aren't aware of (and don't want)
running on your system.
