unsigned drivers

P

Paul

I'm not a developer but can someone help with my question please:-

Does anyone know the difference between the tools sigverif and verifier in
Windows XP. Do they both identify unsigned drivers or is there more to it
than that?

Thanks

Sigverif checks that the file matches the digital signature and is
unaltered. Verifier is a runtime checking tool that will validate a number
of operations on your driver. If you are developing a driver it should
absolutely be run under driver verifier.
