Unsaved document

I am using Word 97 with Windows XP. Today I typed a very long, very
complicated document, and somehow (I am still not sure how!!!) i closed it
without saving it. I seem to vaguely remember that there is a location that
these files go to until you log off.

Is this true, and is there any hope of getting this document back or will I
have to start all over again :-((( Please, I need help URGENTLY!!!

If you never saved the document, there is nothing to retrieve. See
