unrepairible virus that forces reboot and renames!

I use xp home and run Norton antivirus, when my virus scan finds it, it forces reboot and changes files, has even changed system configurations. W32.Hllw.Gaobot.gen is what it was the first time around. hasn't,came up in a day or so, but i still need to take care of it, than-x (e-mail address removed)
