I have the unregmp2.exe Entry point not found error. The dynamic entry
point Get IUMS could not be located in the dynamic link library MSDART.dll.
I see two suggestions on this forum -- (1) Something is needing a newer
MDAC file on your system.Try updating MDAC to the latest version:
(2) Try the install again. When the error comes up hit shift and F10 at
teh same time. This will bring up a command prompt.
In the command prompt type in taskmgr.exe.
Go to the Proccesses Tab.
Find unregmp2.exe in the list and highlight it.
Then click on the end proccess button. Say yes to the confirmation prompt.
Close the Task Manager.
Type exit into the command prompt and hit enter.
Now try to get past the error message.
Anyone know which is best or if either will work? I am trying to repair
an XP-Pro following a MB failure/replacement. Thanks
