I have 2 issues with my Windows XP computer. I got an error today after (not
sure if it had to do with either of these) running Spysweeper and Norton. I
don't know which one, because I was not there when they finished. I came
back and saw an error mesg. "unrecognizable windows files. Please reinsert
your windows cd to fix" i put in my xp os disk and nothing happened. I
restarted my computer and everything was fine. I am assuming, even tho my
spybot and ad-aware came up clean, that it was some sort of spyware or
adware. Help, any ideas?

Second, I am unable to download this one program in Windows. i tried in both
my IE 6.0 browser and Firefox. The status button goes up quickly and then
nothing happens. I am able to download other programs, for example, I did
windows updates, and tested a program on download.com. People told me to
clear my internet history, temp files and cache and STILL not able to
download this software program. Any ideas?

Hi,

Remember that not all programs are perfect. Some programs might be corrupt
even when downloadable. You will have to contact the vendor of that product
to explain the problem so that he can update the site with a functioning
version of the product. There isnt any problem with your computer.

Thank you,

But I am at my moms now and tried downloading the program
and it started up. That still doesn't mean its my
computer does it. Although it could be a problem with
both my browsers IE and Firefox, couldn't it, or their
settings. I just don't want to reinstall my whole OS.
That seems to be Dells answer to everything.

Thanks
Eric
