Unopenable files under "User".....Windows Mail

In my "Windows Mail" folder there are regularly hundreds of messages that
are unopenable and they seem to be duplicates of messages in other folders
under "Local Folders" that are easily readable. What are these messages and
how can I get rid of them? There are several thousand of them on my wife's
computer and I don't want to get that kind of clutter on mine.

Under certain circumstances, the Windows Mail message store gets
corrupted. One cause is running an antivirus that is not fully
compatible with Windows Mail.
Try running the various repair functions in the WMUtil program:
http://www.oehelp.com/WMUtil

If no improvement, upgrade to Windows Live Mail:
http://download.live.com/wlmail
