Unmatched joined query

I have 2 database tables, Master and Detail. I would like to create a join
query to select the Master records that have no detail records. I have tried
many ways but can't find the solution.

Thanks for your help in advance
 
In the database window click on Queries. Click on New icon and select
Unmatched query.
