unlocking a document

I cannot open one of my documents I have saved to floppy disk. I can open all the rest. But when try to open the one I want, it says your document is locked for editing by another user. I checked for virus and there are now. It won't open at all, it either says the above or you can only have a read only copy, but when I hit read only. It won't open either. Please. help
 
Try copying the file to the HD before attempting to open it.
