Unknown value in double field

Has anyone seen this in an access double field before

It was entered by a .Net application

My guess would be that the textbox is too small to display the number.
I don't know where the "nd" is coming from, though! Do you perchance
have some VBA code to display "1st", "2nd", "3rd" which might be
getting called? What do you see in table datasheet view?
