Unknown Traffic & TCP Ports

I have two servers (win2K Sp4)generating a lot of unknown
traffic between them (300MB p/day). One is the Root DC &
the other Child DC.

BTW I am using CommTraffic to monitor the traffic

CommTraffic tels me that the most traffic is generated on
remote Port 1168 (local port is 4846 as reported by
Netstat)

Can anyone tell me what these ports are used by?
or how I can get to the bottom of this?

My list of ports states that 1168 is "generally" used by
video conferencing software. Maybe this can give you a
clue?
