Unknown system tray icon

I have this funky icon in my system tray. I can't figure out what
application it belongs to. Hovering over the icon doesn't bring up a
tool tip. Right-clicking on the icon doesn't do anything, and neither
does single or double-clicking on it. It reminds me of the bottom
right 1/4th of a monitor; the top and left sides of the icon are
straight lines, while the right and bottom have a slight curve to
them. The overall background color is whitish. There is a blue
rectangle in the upper portion of the icon. The rectangle is flush on
the left side, but bordered by the background on the right. There are
three small circles at the bottom of the icon.

Does anyone know what application this icon might belong to?

Many thanks in advance!

What if you open task manager and close unknown processes one at a time?
Can you determine what process it is? What is the malware status of the
computer and how do you check that? One option is to do some clean boot
troubleshooting.
