"Unknown" error message when open a table

Dear Sir/Madam,

MS Access works very stangly today. I can not even open any tables in
Access. There is a "Unknown" error message when I try to open a table. The
table can be copy and paste, but a new table can not be generated using
table or design view.

I reinstore and repair Microsoft Office 2000 again. It seems not to solve
this problem.I did not see any problem of Access about two weeks ago.

It sounds like it could be the problem decribed in this Microsoft
KnowledgeBase article:

The article is talking about Access 2002, not Access 2000, but it
wouldn't surprise me if you have the same problem and can take the same
steps to fix it.
