unknown error and that's all

I get "unknown error" when receiving some emails on Windows Mail,
then message is completely spoiled. I have no problems using same email
accounts on OE.

Since I have no other information can't really think what happens, and how
to avoid it.

That's probably happening because you have allowed your antivirus
program to scan emails.
Email scanning in any antivirus should be disabled, for reasons
explained here:
http://thundercloud.net/infoave/tutorials/email-scanning/index.htm
