Unknown driver causing shut downs

The computer shuts down and MS reports a driver is
causing the crash, but they cannot identify the faulty
driver Error code STOP 0X00000076 The solution
reccomended is to edit the registry to try to pinpoint
the offending driver. I have no knowledge of how to
modify the registry.
