UNKNOWN COMPUTER ON OUR NETWORK

We have a small network (4 computers) connected by Ethernet. Every now and
then one of us will notice "Kimberly's Shared documents" in our My Network
Places. "Kimberly" is not a computer on our network. Are we somehow accessing
someone else's computer, or are they accessing ours? What do we do about it?

is this a wireless router? is there a user account named Kimberly?
if you have wireless and are not using it, log into the router and
disable the wireless radio (this does not mean turn off broadcast).
if you cannot disable, change the SSID to something unique but not
personally identifiable and implement a WPA2 passphrase (or at least
WPA).

otherwise, post more info about your problem.
