Unique value in a list

Hi,

I wonder if anyone could help me solve my problem.
I wish to extract just one of each value from a list automatically, as
below.
Is there a formula to allow me to do this, and if so what is it?

Dave

Peter Peter

Use the advanced filter, select copy to another location and select unique
records.
