Uninstalling Windows Search 4.0

H

Howard Brazee

My computer is very slow, and the drive is always working. Also, I
haven't figured out how to quickly get my old Search function. So I
tried uninstalling Windows Search 4.0. I got a message listing a
whole bunch of upgrades that may not work correctly, so I chickened
out.

How can I stop it from indexing all the time?

How can I get the old Search function easier to start?

Be brave & simply uninstall it.If you run system restore, set a restore point
first..
