Uninstalling Win2K pro when WinME is still there

I have a laptop that has both WinME and Win2K installed. I can choose to
boot in either operating system on start-up. I want to remove the Win2K so
that WinMe is the only and default OS on the computer. I imagine my drive
must be the FAT system (I'm sure that's what I chose when installing Win2K).
I have seen the threads that say reformat (or FDISK) and reinstall, but I
obviously don't wanna go that route. Can I remove Win2K or am I stuck with
it always being there.

Normally, assuming WinMe is installed to the C: drive, you'd just
have to boot from your WinMe startup diskette, type "SYS C:." Then
delete C:\NTLDR, C:\NTDETECT.COM, C:\BOOT.INI, C:\BOOTSEC.DOS, and
C:\PAGEFILE.SYS. Delete or reformat the Win2K directory/partition, as
applicable. Remove the startup diskette and reboot.

That depends on whether or not the Operating Systems are on the same
partition, what partitions they are installed on and whether or not (if
on separate partitions) you want to keep anything on the W2K partition.
See here: http://thpc.info/dual/removedualboot.html or post more
information for more accurate answer.

Thanks John (and Bruce also). This link did the trick. I did have them on
the same partition so it was a quick fix.
