Uninstalling Vista b2 problem

It is now time to uninstall Vista, have had it running on this sytem now for
months, with no real problems.
But now, when I place my XP Pro disc in the DVD drive I cannot get it past
the "Press any Key......." part, it just carries on booting into Vista.
I have checked that the disc is ok and tried known working dvd drives and
keyboards. Is this a problem with Vista or something else?

I have also checked in the bios to make sure the first boot device is the
dvd drive.

Thanks for the info, The problem I have is that Vista is the only OS on
this drive.
