Where do I go to find the screensave files/programs, and
how do I delete and/or uninstall those I no longer want?

if you have IE browser, click on the desktop and open
properties, click screen savers tabs and make your choices

Hi!Dennis!

If default XP screensavers, they're part of the operating
system files and are protected from being deleted or overwritten.
Still if you want to delete them, delete the copy in
Windows\System32\dllcache
first, then the one in Windows\System32.

A warning you will get that the files are missing/corrupt. Instruct not
to replace them.

Since deleting unselected screensavers --- the screen display that appears
after the computer is idle after a set time --- is a pointless exercise, I
wonder if you have mixed up *desktop backgrounds* with screensavers. The
desktop backgrounds choices include those pictures you have in My Pictures.
So if you no longer want to keep these pictures as options in the selection
in desktop background, just delete the pictures in My Picture (Rt. click >
[delete]).
