Uninstalling programs.

I get an error message when trying to uninstall some program:"Error 1316.A
network error ocured while attempting to read the file
C:\WINDOWS\Installer... .
Can you help and thanks in advance.

Did as you suggested but the program is Microsoft Time Zone and when trying
to re-install the message is "This program is allready installed go Install
and Suppress Programs to Repair or Modify" I end up in a loop since the same
message appears when I do.
Thank you for your suggestion however.
