I have WindowsXP Home ed.
When I run my virus scan - McAfee - (everytime) I get the message that this
could possibly be a potentially unwanted program (PUP). Does anyone know
what this is and what it does? It is found under C:, Program files,
QuickSearch. In the Quick Search folder is the Uninstall_QuickSearchBar.exe
file.
If I try to remove it through the virus software it tells me that it may
have be loaded with a bundled programs and if it is deleted that it may cause
some programs not to run properly. Is this something that is essential to
WindowsXP Home?
Thanks for any help on this!
