I need to uninstall powershell before upgrading my system to Vista. I tried
everything that is on the web. The uninstall or remove this upgrade gives me
an error, it says it my not be installed but the registry says it is. When I
change the install value to 0 the vista upgrade advisor still finds it.

You can possibly do:

1) Download the Powershell install directly from Microsoft and re-
install it so as to successfully remove it after.

2) Locate the Windows Installer Clean up tool and remove the Windows
Installer entry.
