Uninstall Media Player???

Using XP Pro, my OS came with Media Player 9. I want to uninstall MP 9. Is
there any way to uninstall this? If so please post detailed instructions.

Use System Restore in Windows. Windows Media Player 9 Series will be
removed.

No. Windows Media Player is integrated into
the operating system files and cannot be uninstalled.
