Uninstall Folders in Windows Directory

Hi

I have got nearly one hundred folders in my windows directory, all named
similar to this one: $NtUninstallKB835732$. In total, they are taking up
approx 750MB of space. Do I need to keep them on my system or are they files
I can safely delete. It just seems a hell of a lot of space to keep tied up
if I don't really need to.

Any help on this matter greatly appreciated.

Thanks

These folders are the uninstall folders for Windows Hotfixes that you get
from Windows Update. You can remove them if the updates are stable and you
don't need to uninstall them.

In addition to Patrick's post once the uninstall folders are removed you can
remove the reference to each one in Add/Remove programs. Doug Knox has a
utility to automate this.
